Well im dumb and I ordered a manual flywheel for my 4spd auto. Is there anybody thats makes an aftermarket auto flexplate? Oh im so mad lol..

Alright, I was just notified nobody makes one for the auto lol.. Soo, everybody can disregard this post haha. At least I get to save some money I guess, thats the only good thing that came out of this.

The only time you would need another is if you break, or tear the stock one. The Reaper did this. Mantapart made a custom one for it. I was told they took 2 stock ones and welded them together and balanced it.

I was under the impression that flex plates for auto's should be heavier rather than lighter. Am I correct in thinking this?

Intense Racing has one for the 3800. But, I doubt that'll match up to the 2.4.
The flex plate really has no other purpose...... other then to mate the Engine to the Torque converter....... and provide a ring for the starter to grind on......
The only need for a aftermarket one would be if you cracked your stock one..... like the Reaper.

drill like 15 quarter sized wholes in the stock one, just playing of course. just do what i did, remove those balance shafts and do the 2.3 pump swap
