well every once and awhile i will launch my car by brake TQ and it will usally spin.....and keep going....but every once and awhile it will feel like teh Trac Control is comming on then it will shift like normal...when this happens i really dont get any wheel spin....this is with the car in pushed into 1 and with the ebrake up one notch and also wiht b&M shiftplus on....it also does it with out teh shiftplus so i dont know.....I know my brakes up front are really bad could that be the reason taht my ETS is comming on because it wants to slip i didnt really have this problem when i had good brakes jsut trying to fig stuff out any IDEA's???????

ETS starts by cutting fuel to the engine. So, that would explain a large HP loss.
well i know that it cuts timing which in turn cuts hp but....why does it do it is my ? the TRAC OFF light is on but it still has Trac Control im confused by that part....it only happens when i Brake TQ and launch the car.....I just need to know if something bad is happeing or if its normal???

That's probably what we refer to as "Abuse Mode". If the PCM thinks it could cause damage to the trans, it will pull timing. Just like Torque management makes it pull timing before shifts. Probably just the PCM trying to prevent you from tearing the car up, that's all.
