For the 4spd autos. Well Trey(TRD_CAVFIRE) let me have his old coolings lines that came out of a 97 Z.. Now I have a 99 4spd auto and those lines do not fit my tranny.. One of the lines that go into the tranny is not long enough to fit. So does anybody know why they would be different? I guess I could try to buy 99 4spd cooling lines, but I just want to make sure first.

GM changed the design in 98 or 99. I went through that when I did a 99 2.4 swap into my 96 4dr 2.2 with 4spd auto. Tried to use the lines from my 96 4spd on the 99 4spd to find the same thing you found. If you were to call the dealer they would say something like "2nd design" for that year line. Had the part number somewhere but I cant find it now Think it was like a $30-50 item though... But yeah, no clue why the hell they changed it.

Thanks man, yeah i figured they would change when going into the 99 year lol.. Looks like Ill be buying some 99 tranny lines then lol.. Thanks for clearing it up for me
