How much is it going to cost me ballpark to have a tran shop do a torque converter install for me and how much on an avg will i be paying for a decent one?

figure a few hun for the stall and double that for the install. should be able to get one and get it in for a grand.

I would say about 400 for the install. But hey what do you have friends for??? You know the ones that always come over to drink your beer.

Installs in these cars aren't bad as the motor stays in. Much less work. Time for an unexperienced shop is about 9 hours. I would say 5 for guys that have done this before. That sounds like a big difference but if someone has never worked on these cars that is how it will be.
