my trans in my 1991 pontiac sunbird le 3.1 when it gets hot like tonight i was going to the movie place and this dude is all up on me so i hit it so about 110 i slowed down and the trans down shifted fine but when i go to stop the car dies on me the trans shifts fine up and down but the car still dies on me when i stop .
i think it might be the lock up or something i put new torqure convet in it with new fuild and filter.
if anyone has had the same pro please help me out..

Sounds like The TCC sol. is locking up and your trans is acting like a manual when you come to a stop. because it's locked up still. Sol. in side case need's replaced.

ya thats what i thought i just wanted to c if it might be somthing else so i could fix it its only like 30.00
