ok a buddy of mine has a 2000 cavy with a 2200 and it has the an automatic tranny. the other day his trac light came on and then he could not get it to shift out of the first gear. so he could only get the car going 30mph. but when he disconnected and reconnected the battery it worked fine. Anybody has this problem or know what it is?
if it does it again try to scan the code because without a code it's hard to diagnose a problem. I was at the track and ran my car with the iat sensor on the intake unplugged and it threw the trac off light and made the car shift extremely hard. I cleared the code and it was fine.
