ok this is an intermittent problem. some times only when the engine is warm i will go to give it gas and downshifts then it slips until i pop it into nuetral and then back into drive and it will kick back in like normal. i have the 4t40e with 100k on it. also another problem is a 1887 code saying tcc release circuit problem could this be my problem or something else. thanks in advance

it shifts good and hard for stock, just it seems like maybe a lose contact even though i cant find one. but now the car has 102000 miles and never had fluid changed and i know i have overheated it at least once or twice good times. could burnt fluid cause it to slip or stick sometimes?
