I tried searching and the only results i yeilded was how to change it and a question about ClutchMasters clutches...
Now, i did a getrag swap on my 1997 Z24. I got a new Clutch master from GM and installed it. The problem i am having is when i depress the pedel it seems to leak out of the cap. Also when i press the clutch the hose that goes to the tranny moves, and i think this is causing a softer then normal pedal feel....
If i take the clutch cap right off and press the clutch it shoots out like its a water fountain....
Please help....

id say replace the master cylinder as they are not too expensive and are fairly easy to replace.
it cost $250 from GM, and its brand new...
open the bleeder on the slave cylinder, and keep the cap off the master cylinder......... watch for fluid to start dripping out the bleeder. Then close the bleeder, top off the fluid and cap the master. Pump up the peddle a few times (slowly). If you have a friend/family/other around, have them help you. Have them pump the peddle slowly, and then hold it to the floor. You crack the bleeder open, close it after the stream of fluid shoots out. Have them pump the peddle again slowly, hold to the floor, crack bleeder....... do this 3-4 times. Top the fluid off again, and you should be set to go.
