i have a 2.2 '02 with the AT and more often than not when i get on it a bit only in the corners, shortly afterwards it has this whiney noise like it IS supercharged.. no joke its that bad... it'll start whining at about 1100 RPM and will die out at about 4500 RPM... anyone know of a source of my problem.. hopefully it's not the trans going.. that would suck...
my car does that to and so does my friends 96 bonniville non s/c its just how they sound i guess i dont mind it.
Check your belt maybe it's to tight.
What alternator are you using, is it still stock or something else ? cause it happened to me once, i had hitachi alt. but when i replace it again
ac delco the whinning noise was gone for good.
