this might sound really stupid and im new to the forum but i was wondering if they made a six speed tranny for my 96 z24 cavalier i also heard that iszuzu made the trans for chevy any help would be appreciated
a 6 speed would be cool, but they never made one. and yes izuzu made your tranny, if its a 5 speed

Quaife makes a universal trans... but its pricey. if i crapped $$$ i'd get one.

Would't the bellhousing for the Vauxhall be the same? because everytime I do a search anywhere on the ecotec's that seems to come up? I'm not really sure. All I know is the 2200 OHV is getting replaced by an Ecotec, as soon as I find one for the right money!

yes Vauxhall's have many different flavors of eco's in them. the Astra VXR has a 6-speed but I can only assume its like the saab one and prolly won't fit.
