just wondering if they work or not. also do you have to add them when you do a flush or can i get away with just adding it without flushing my trans fluid? any help is appreciated
It depends on what kind of leak it is, if its the gasket its better to just change the gasket and the filter while you are down there.
I believe those products are designed to try & swell up the seals; which it can only do to a certain extent.
I tried some years ago on an old Dodge van I had, but it didn't stop the leak.
yeah they work, for awhile...
its just a bandaid fix, quit waisting time and money and just do the @!#$ right the first time instead of @!#$ with crap like additives...

The Lucas Trans fix stuff which solves slipping helps but that is only due to it changing the fricitonal properties of the trans fluid. Never tried leak stopper.
