which is more likely to blow?

so i been having debates with many people. They say that they searched in forums and when people put alot of power to the tranny such as engine swap or turbo the manual trannys seem to blow. supposedly the auto is supposed to be less likely to blow but then i was lookin on here and i'm seein that some auto's are getting blown. i was planning to keep my auto and just hook a lap top to it and when i race i plan to control the shifting of the tranny by the computer. i really want a manual but not if its prolly going to blow. i've heard the 4t65E is supposedly a really good auto trans since it's in the impala police cars..well the 4t65EHD. but u guys kno what i mean. and i kno the getrag is supposed to be good but it can only handle so much

Tila Tequila? PPSSSSSHHH she's got nothing on me, except i'm not a porn star. and that's ok.

i've helped a friend put some pretty massive power through a 4t40e and its been going strong! the main thing with the auto is you have to keep an eye on the trans temps! dont expect a 100% bone stock auto to last. a B&M with some full synthetic trans fluid and a transcooler with a temp guage are the min. requirements i would install if your going to put any amount of power through the trans.
