I have a 2003 a/t. The tranny will shift into overdrive in every gear. Meaning if i put it in first it will still shift through the gears. It won't stay in 1-2 or 3rd gear. Its like I have 4 overdrive gears.
This is a new tranny the last i blew a whole the size of a baseball in it. it blew up internally.
Anyway another problem i have is sometimes it won't go into overdrive unless i floor it getting on the highway and i have let off the gas and hop it bangs its way into od.
Could my problem be electronic??
its late man!!! it could be electronic but are you throwing any codes? If not check your voltage to all your sensors on the tranny if not you might have just got a bad trans and need to get another one
