when it goes from 1 to 2 and from 2 to 3 it jerks the whole car.. it just started happening after i changed the oil..

but i placed the jack near the engine.. and i thought it was the support but now that i think i may have jacked it up with the engine mount .. i couldnt see much i lowered it and moved it cause it didnt look right.. arrrrr

could it be that.

yeah it could be u might have made the tranny and the motor not align exactlly right or your axels might be stressing because its not lined up completely right

does it do the same thing when you shift into gear? mine does the same thing but it only happened after my temp gauge went out and it started throwing codes.

oh wow i did the same thing when i jacked up the car... and it was i believe the engine mount....does that do major damage????...besides misaligning the trans? w/ the engine!?

not that i am aware of it prolly would for a prolonged period of time it would eentioin wear the joints out on the axels and stuff like that but im not exactlly for sure
