Well I put the car over the pit today, to check out motor mounts and trans mounts to see how to install/where they are, anyways i looked at my trans and the thing is wet...on the outside...

I cleaned around and removed the dipstick, it was loose, and very easy to get out. I then cleaned the dipstick, and put it back in, to make sure i wasn't low on fluid. It almost seems too full? the whole dipstick was wet with trans fluid, way above the "max" mark, and even around the little rubber stopped/seal thing...

I dont even know if it is leaking from the dipstick? but it looks like it is NOT comming from the axle, since it is wet above? unless trans fluid can somehow bend the laws of gravity?

any help and suggestions are appreciated...off to work for the night.

Probably leaking from the dipstick, they are known to go. Get a new one, it's like $10, and clean the tranny up, drive a bit and see what happens.
