Where my rear transmission mount bolts to the trans the little "ears" with threads are broken. so i have no trans mount in the back and it decided to take the axel with it. so my question is instead of buying a new trans is it realisically possible to swap out the trans case for a junkyard unit? and by realistically i mean that i can do it myself with minimal tools, not having to have a bunch of special wrenches and a full shop to do it?

so what? nobody has taken their tramsmission apart? or just to lazy to post?
