Hey guys,

the neutral safety switch in m '95 Sunfire with the 2.2L auto has bit the dust - If I move the sifter back and forth a bunch, I can get it the dash to indicate it's in Reverse, but that's about it. I need to start the car to get it into the garage, so how do I go about bypassing the neutral safety switch? Can I just short the two wires in the plug-in together?

What tranny does it have? The 3T40 or 4T40E?

It is a '95 2.2L, so it's the 3T40.

I am going to go jump the yellow and purple wires on the harness, which should bypass the neutral safety switch...
