Monday, December 11, 2006 12:16 PM
I will be getting the Findanza SS for my car for xmas...i was wondering if i buy one of the "type r" look a like shift knobs off of ebay, would it fit? Does the Findanza have a thread on style one and does anyone know if this knob will fit?

it is threaded and does not come with a knob, any universal should fit but be warned, if you shift hard at all it won't stay on

sorry i should have clarified. i know the "type R" knobs are NOT threaded. i am personally using a B&M t-handle on mine. works great, threaded right on. any knob that threads would be fine

the honda shifters use a smaller thread i believe. i do believe the fidanza is a 10.5 X 1

why not use your stock knob that way when its cold your hand doesnt freeze while grabbing on to it and when its hot you dont burn your hand

i think you shifter is going to look real stupid if you dont remove the reverse lock out. id use the stock knob that came with the car.

I'm also pretty sure honda's threads are smaller than the fidanza unit.

I got the cosmo racing shifter for my car and hate the shift knob but my stock knob is trashed. Does anyone know where i can get a decent leather knob that would screw on to the shaft?

try a junk yard....or maybe go to a GM dealer...they might be able to get that for you
