hey everyone, like 8 months ago i blew my tranny doing a burnout..lol
anyways i got a new one installed today and it drives like i drove it yesterday! but, when moving the shifter left to right it is really hard to move it. shift gears up and down are a breeze its just when i need to move it a little right or left for 1st, or 5th,
i know its not the tranny but im puzzled...
any ideas? anyone?

Check to make sure where the cable clips on to the trans for the side to side movement, make sure it move freely. also what you can do is unclip the side to side cable from the shifter and trans and make sure the cable moves freely. then try to shift into gear under the hood while the cables are unclipped. then move the shifter with the cables unclipped and see whats wrong or is causing the rough side to side movement.
