Is it possible to have streetable rwd cavi?
Yes. Anything is possible, but due to time and money often not advantageous. There would be several humps to overcome, and the benefits of it would be so marginal.
"The Blue Bullet"
yes it is posible, its my dream to make a cavalier look stock on the outside, and have a 3800 S/C under the hood with a full tube chassis, no 350 sb BS and no huge tubs in the rear.

UFlip06 said it best: Just look underneath the engine and if you see big hairy balls it's a 2.4 Twin Cam, if they're shaved it's an Ecotec and if you see nothing it's a 2200!
well yes... u can make it streetable... its just going to cost u wayyyy more than the cars worth to get it that way. u really have to love the platform to dump that kinda money into it.

I think a mid-engine designe would be sweet. Ditch the back seat and put in a Porsche engine and rear end. Now that would be wicked way to drop 20k.
