Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (16 ft. lbs.) .
Rotate 45 degrees .
Tighten the bolts to specifications in a star pattern.

one more question. after the pressure plate bolts are torqued to specs should the clutch disc still be able to move with the alignment tool? mine does and i've never seen a clutch do this before. then again i've only done clutches on a RWD not a front. help please!

When i did my clutch install my disc stayed put...it didnt move. double check and see if anything has gotten in the way by chance, or that the disk is facing the right direction.
