ok...i dont know if you know this or not..but if you have a 95-99 5speed isuzu then it is MUCH easier to swap in a 92-94 getrag than cutting and welding new mounts for the 2k+getrag ..and the outcome is about the same if not better

This transmission is a special EUROPEAN EXPORT-ONLY unit and has a special race-bred gearset not sold in the US! The assembly code is 4DFF and carries part number 10235022. The gear ratios are lower than all the V-6 Getrags and most other Quad 4 Getrags. This is the ultimate drag racing or road racing gearbox. It can also be used as a stock replacement for any Quad 4 car.

I like the F23 Getrag better myself, and the NVG is harder to get parts for.

i'm in a similar boat.. Brian you comented a couple times in my last thread. is there anything else other then mounts that needs to go with the tranny? i'm swapping in a LD9 from a 2.2ohv. so i need to makes all the mounts and everything. so is it just the mounts for the tranny i'll need to worry about, and averything else just bolts right up?
If going from the Isuzu to the F23 Getrag, you'll need the shifter, cables, hydrolic lines for the clutch, and the GM rear trans bracket (gets welded in).
If going from the Isuzu to the NVG transmission (older Getrag style), you'll need the front (I believe its the front) trans mount from the donor car, and a custom 'cable extension/adapter' for one of the shift cables...... also a throw out bearing/slave cylinder for the NVG (you can use the older Quad 4 flywheel, or Isuzu flywheel, + matching clutch assembly)
I believe that about covers it.....
