Ok here's the situation, my boy Jerry threw a rod in his '02 LS Sport due to an improper tune & injector failure. Needless to say he had to replace the motor, while he had the motor out he decided to replace the flywheel & clutch. He went with Fidanza lightweight flywheel & a Centerforce dual friction clutch. He got everything bolted up & when he tried to start the car nothing happened. We look under the hood & after awhile of searching we noticed that his slave cylinder was leaking. He went & bought a new one two weeks later when he got paid & same thing happened, so he assumed that he was sold a bad slave cylinder. Two more weeks pass & same thing, so this time we consider that mabey its something else. So one of his friends come over, ASE Master Technitian, & says that mabey the 4ual friction clutch applies too much resistance for the TOB. I have never heard of this, can anybody shed some light on this situation. I can say I think he should have gotten a SPEC clutch anyway but I still don't see the Clutch over pressurizing the TOB causing the seal on the SC to break. HELP PLEASE!!!
It beats a Honda!
He already did they want pictures of the clutch, thanks
