i blew the tranny in my 98 2.2 non ecotec 5 speed.And I can only find a 95 2.2 5 speed but the site says it doesnt intechange but i think it does? maybe not
As long as it's from a 2.2.
I have a transmission that came off of a 2200 and put it on a 2.2. And eventually used it on a 3400. It will swap, it's the same.
if you still can't find one in 2 months, i'm swapping in an LD9 and gettin rid of my OHV 2.2....any bidders?

thanx i pretty much knew it would( i know lot about 1st and 2nd gen v6 cars) and i knew it would even go on a 3.1-2.8 3x00 just wasnt sure about 2.2 if they changed or not
another quicky how bout a tranny out of a early 90's berretta 3.1?
sorry for stealing your post but will a 00 Getrag from a Z24 work on a 95 Z24 with the 2.3L? Do they have different bellhousings?
