it works like a clutch. :-) It just so happens to have a twin disc instead of a single disc engagement. Double your trouble double your fun.

Any word on price?

Price? Clutch Masters twin disc setups retail for $1800, so think from a dealer, around $1500-1700..

The entire setup looks to be rebuildable too.

Thats the problem

400 tq is about where i want to be ... if not more

stg 3+ is good for 490 ft/lb.

BTW what materials are used for the friction material?

looks like its a sintered iron and im guessing unsprung hubs. this would be purly a race clutch. still, why do you need a dual disk clutch when a single disk clutch will hold more power than the tranny will take???

I plan on making more power than my measly 432hp 424tq to the wheel, and I intend to replace broken parts one broken piece at a time.

spec sucks ass

plus that clutch will hold more than a spec and still be a nice as like a stage 1 or 2

I got a different price. Mine's the test unit. Less than $1500.

oh well. I've got an 01 tranny. There's a difference for some reason.

Maybe someone who is REAAAAALLLY curious should find out.

Hey Spyhunter what other tranny/drivetrain upgrades have you done and if so where did you get your parts? I know that Driveline shop makes bigger/stronger axles and I have a Team Green LSD but are there any stronger tranny parts out there? Anyone?


2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.

i think you need to do the N body aluminum front control arm swap, gtp wheel bearings, impala rotors, camaro calipers and gtp front axles.

the inner male actually plugs into the getrag tranny! all you have to do is get longer shafts made....
