ok so who has all broke an axle preferably on an eco due to POWER? im not talkin about driving around with a 3-4" drop or auto x (gasing it around turns)
but who has actually broke an axle due to too hard of a launch or too much power?
mines popped about 3 times since the track. (it hasnt poped in over a year)
should i be concerned? i really dont mind dropping a few hundred on DSS axles BUT the next weakest part will break. which is the diff....
tires wont spin---->axles wont break--->OEM diff goes bye bye.
70-100 oem axle at napa
300 DSS axle at summit
1400 quaife diff.

Uh... I WISH I could say that happens to me
haha
I broke one of mine on the 1-2 shift. go figure.
Yes it can easily happen, wheel hop, spin and hook, running 17"+ super mega chromed out rims, some axles by nature are just stronger than others due to flaws in their manufacturing, Personally the 60 dollar Autozone replacement lifetime warranty is good enough for me.
