Lookin for a write up on hoe to swap tranny mounts, but no luck as of yet. Can anyone help?
Thanks. I read both threads. Just hoped their was a better write up. When I lifted the car, the mts. looked like if they were gonna be a pita to get to. I guess this weekend I'll be doing this. Thanks again.
Couple hints:
the front mount, you have to undo some of the fender liner to get the bolt out, or if you have a ratchet wrench (not a socket), you can squeeze it between the fender liner and the frame rail.
the rear is on the firewall side of the mount, so that one may have to be undone from the top.
As for the 6 mounting bolts to the trans, they are accessible from the top of the trans.
