Ok im swapping a eco into my car as of installation it will have:
-Pacesetter header
-Full exhaust
-Tranny mounts
-Engine mounts
-Aem intake
-Lightened pulleys
-Spec flywheel
Now planned for the next year or so will be:
-Hahn stage 2 with 20g upgrade
-Smg throttle body
-Cams
Now what stage clutch should i go with? Ive been thinking either a stage 2+ or stage 3 or should i suck it up and get a 3+? I prolly wont have the turbo kit for atleast a yr and id hope the clutch will last for amore then a yr rather jut buy things once.
If you ever have any plans for nitrous or Turbo, get the SPEC stage 3+ now and save your money. If you order a clutch now and save a couple dollars, it is good, but once you exceed that clutch and have to put in a better one, you might have wanted to do it the first time?

What is the honest differnces of the stage 3 to the stage 3+ tho is what im concerned about...Ok it holds more tourque..Does it have a closer to stock feel then the stage 3? or what..reason im asking is this is by no means a race car and i have to drive 4 hrs to the closest track so it will be mainly driven around town..phil
Stage 3+ holds a lot more torque and power, however it still feels and drives more like the normal stage 3

does it last as long or longer?
I don't know anyone yet, that has had a stage 3+ wear out? Mine has been in a long time (75K+ miles) and no issues.

I have the Spec stage 3+ and spec aluminum flywheel. I have only put a 100 miles on it, but it feels very close to stock as far as pedal feel is concerned. It grabs very quickly when it starts to engage. Bite the bullit and buy the 3+.
I would go with the stage 2 or 2+. You really don't need a 3, since the stock bottom end will give out before the stage 2 ever will.
O noes!
