hey im gettin a big turbo set up for my car its gonna cost me about 10 grand to get it all done, ill have about 500 WHP when im done, but im keeping the auto tranny, i need to know what parts i need to make a beefy ass tranny
can someone give me a parts list please

When do you plan on needing a transmission? If your making 500WHP then your going to need a 4T65E from a Grand Prix GTP. I bought one from a junk yard and im working on the rebuild right now. Its very exspensive for a swap, thats why im doing it myself. The engine has to be rotated 22 degrees torward the front, custom pan and pickup, custom engine and trans mounts. The transmission im building has a lot of aftermarket parts, close to 70%. It will be able to handle about 650WHP. If all my R&D pays off, im going to be offering these transmissions as a bolt in kit.

the 500whp mark and needing a 4t65e is not entirely true because nobody has actually built a 4t40e and pushed it, but im am doing that build this winter.
get yank 3000 stall convertor, raybestos blue plate clutch packs, team green lsd insert, valve job. if you look into it, you can find tons of stuff on the 4t40e.
