will the transmission out of a 1995 Grand Am (4-cyl) bolt into my '99 Z24?

depends what engine the grand am has
They only make one 4 cylinder grand am motor and that year (95) is the quad 4, same block as the 2.4 twin cam so YES the tranny will bolt up
OK, but is it the same as the J's had in '95 (isuzu $#!+), or is it still the getrag that was used in the 92-94 GAs?
how about a 5 speed out of a 98 2.2l fitting with a 97 2.4l? will that bolt up?
