As for aftermarket ones, only company to have one is Turbo Tech Racing.

the biggest advantage is that the engine will move less when you do a launch or accelerate in any way. with the transverse mounted engine in our cars the first thing to move when you hit the gas is the engine. its easier to twist the engine in the mounts then it is to move the entire car. with polyurethane mounts the engine will twist less meaning less energy is wasted twisting the engine and more is spent turning the wheels.

the disadvantage, there will be more vibration in the car at low rpm.

i have a full set of turbo tech mounts and it does vibrate when the car is below 900 rpm, slightly worse if its in gear and im holding the brakes(auto)

We are the only company, that I know of, that makes an upgrade automatic tranny mount.
