i got a 97 z24 s peed was driving today heard a clicking so turn around n head home stop at a light when light turn i go to let the clutch out and hear grinding noise an the car wont move im thinking axel

now can i change just a diff or would the problem be solved if i swap out the trans
You can change just the diff. I put a new trans in mine. If it comes from Japan does it make it JDM???????????????

I heard clicking from driverside aswell, I changed out both axles to make the problem go away but clicking was still there, took it for a test ride and lost all gears.
yea up same here thats why i just pulled my trans

Hahahahahaha it was a new trans from GM. I paid 10% over cost, through a dealer down the street from the one I worked at. It cost me $2050 and came direct from Japan in an Isuzu crate.
