I checked according to manual - secure on lift, warm it up, go through all gears, remove plug with engine running and trans in park - and nothing came out. Reinstalled cap, shut it off, removed vent cap, inserted long funnel, cranked it again, removed plug - and Fluid came rushing out. WTF? Removing the vent cap make that big of a diff? Am I supposed to check the level with or without vent cap on? Someone let me know if I'm not doing something right.
when the fluid stops running out its full and your done. it did just what it was supposed to.
Is the car suppose to be on or off when checking the fluid level? I checked it with the car on and only a little was coming out. I checked it again turned off and a lot was coming out.....
