bleeding clutch

So I just put a new trans and clutch in my sunfire gt, went to bleed the clutch and it was kinda a pita. So I thought you needed you two wrenches one to keep the whole thing from twisting so you could unscrew the bleeder valve. So I was short on the right wrench, I thought it was an 11m to hold it, which fit really tight. It was probably standard. Well I ended up having to use a vice to hold that sucker still while I loosened it.

What size is that actually suppose to be? 9/16 loosened the main bleeder but what about the other? Just curious for reference..
Thanks
