ok i bought an ebay shifter, and when i was taking off the old one i broke a plastic clip on the retainer(anyone have a spare?) but now that the shifter is on, i cant get it into 1st gear....every other gear is fine though...but when i adjust it to where i can get it in first, than i cent get reverse...NEED HELP...PICS IF U HAVE THEM PLZ

did you grind down the metal housing at all? i know when i did my b&m i had to remove the shifter from the metal house that bolts to the floor and grind i think 5mm all the way around to allow of the new shifter to shift properly. i had a similair problems where i had a hard time getting it into first but every other gear was fine, so i took it back out again and grinded it down a little more and havent had a problem since.
