Trac OFF light is on and trans shifts REAL hard now.
No check engine light is on.
HAve not pulled codes....but the rrac light MUST be related to the hard shifts
Any ideas?

Then it might be broken. Very common symptoms of an unplugged IAT (or broken) sensor.

OK, I verified that its plugged in.
Wouldn't a bad senson blow a Check engine light?

Have you done any throttle body or intake mods?
Installed a b & m shift or autotrans interceptor?
Done a tranny flush at an authorized place?

im having the same problem and i pulled a po113 code thats is iat sensor 1 circuit high input.
the 2 wires that go into the plug like to break , you need to go to any GM dealer and get a IAT repair harness , like 20-30
