my old daily driver was doing this too. I am doing a five speed swap and am wondering how to fix this . Can you buy a syncro separate? How hard is it to replace? What can be done to prevent this from happening again?

getcrap syncros can be very pricey. I dont even bother fixing mine when they fail as there is always a lot wrong with them. Just find a used one and throw it in, then wait for it to fail again.

well i have done that with three automatics allready and don't want that to happen again hence going with the getrag. Thats the first bad I have heard about them. I thought they handle power really nicely.

I have had second, third, fifth, and diffs. go out on mine. I think they are junk. I prefer the Isuzu trans.
