uhhh......the rpms go up but you dont gain any speed

alright....thats what i thought.....OK. thats happenin in my jbo.... Im not sure if it would have to do with just plain wear and tear, or would it have something to do with the fact that my engine's intake manifold was ported recently? It seems to have added more power, and my car has less than 100K miles on it, and the transmission was rebuilt at ~83K miles.....Is my engine making too much power for the stock torque converter??

eh, unless it's locked up its ALWAYS slipping....

^^^^ yeah but then he needs to understand is that the transmission could be whats slipping... the converter (like i said before, always slips unless completely locked up).
