im just seeing how many people have had luck with the stage 3+???
I've had it for about a year and I like it. It has never slipped with my setup, even with the drag radials and it's not like an on/off switch. However like most spec clutches with some cars you seem to loose the clutch feel (little to no retention on the clutch pedal) aside from that though... all is well.

i just order the stage 3+ with the light weight option
thanks,james
what does the lightweight option mean exactly?
well they drill some holes in the pressure plate like a break rotor and than they lightin it up inside too, thats what the spec guy told me..so its kinda dose what a light weight flywheel dose..

How does it compare to a stock clutch? I am personally looking for something that feels lighter and more like butter in which Requires almost no pressure to push it to the floor. I'm use to driving my dad's A4 2.0T and this sunfire feels like crap compared to the clutch on that car IMO. I can live with the sunfire being like this for now, but i want the 5 speed in the cavy with something better.
Then again the price tag between cars says a lot too.
stock F23 is to heavy....
LOL
don't come near a V-8 then.

Its not that is too heavy, I just don't like it enough to the point where i may pick up 2 Spec clutches.
But we'll see. I'm still adjusting to it.
Absolutely love my Spec Stge 3+ and SPEC Lightened Flywheel......revs a lot quicker than stock....but also lets the rpms drop a lot quicker......but no problems with launching hard or daily driving
blackwidow660 so you havent had any problems with the spec flywheel?i just got the stage 3+ in with the light weight option got it from turbo tech racing thanks, and i have a brand new gm flywheel but i kinda want a light weight flywheel im just worried about them braking

I just pulled my clutch/pressure plate out after having it a couple seasons. There are visible hot spots on the flywheel/pressure plate as expected but the clutch has plenty of material left to reuse it. I've probably made 100+ passes at the drag strip with this clutch and hopefully make just as many more.
So far I'm happy, we'll see if it holds the added power this spring. I just wish the pedal had more retention/feel to it, not sure what really causes that to happen with some after market clutch setups.
