cobalt auto 45e or 40e?

I'm in the market for a transmission at the moment. I found one from a balt. This guy is saying it will work in my cav. Wikipedia says the cobalt's use the 4T45E. They're both the same gear ratios through-out the gears. So my question is, will my ECU control the 45E, or.....is the Wiki, wrong?

Listen F***ers. FASTERTHANAHONDA is a joke because I WORK FOR HONDA. I'll talk @!#$ about Fords to, that doesn't mean I can beat a 12 second mustang.

Cobalts have a wider wheelbase than J's and therefore the transmission cases are bigger and have way different mounting points.

in the same vein, if i were to swap to a Grand Am 4t45e, would that be plausible with a 4t40e flash on the car? or would i have horrible gear slippage?

I'll eventually take the time to put something here. I swear.
