Manufacturer should suggest the proper time in the clutches documentation.

generally up to 700-1000 stop and go miles. highway miles dont mean jack because the part of the clutch that requires break in time isnt being used.

i personally wouldnt beat on it til 2000 miles, i had 1200 stop and go on my centerforce dual friction and took it to the track and it slipped like a MOFO until it got really warmed up, then it grabbed like crazy. it wasnt until around 2000 miles that it REALLY started to grab.

Riddle me this... riddle me that...

It is usually 500 miles of normal stop and go driving. I have always done 500 miles with no issues. Some people (old school hotrod guys) say it is broke in once you get to a place that you can stomp the gas pedal.

Sounds like you are getting peak torque and maybe letting out on the clutch a little fast.

you shouldnt be power shifting a clutch when breaking it in, should be driving conservatively and not revving the @!#$ out of it/dumping the clutch/power shifting it

I drove like a girl for the first 500 miles. A little harder from 500 to 1000 then stated to beat on it. Feels pretty good now at 3000 miles.
