Alright, I've had my Shift Plus installed for a good bit. I was wondering if anyone has ever noticed any issues while using it?
My transmission pan began seeping a bit after using the Shift Plus for awhile.
In my Haynes manual it says leaking can occur because pressure is too high, Any relation to my Shift Plus?
Another thing, after turning off the Shift Plus, my transmission seems to have shifted a lot slower than regularly.
But this was just initially and seems to have adjusted back to stock. Shift Plus messing up computer signals?
Or all in my head?
I was just wondering, any input would be great, thanks.
(FYI setting 2 has been used very rarely, used in setting 1 majority of the time)

Not in your head, many here have reported that after taking the shift plus off that their tranny seemed to shift as if the plus was still turned on.It does increase pressure and maybe it is just time to change your trans pan gasket, mine never leaked due to the plus, and I always ran it setting 1 other than the track.

When I turn mine off my trans feels like a 7-11 slushy. It doesn't have a nice positive shift, it keeps dropping in and out of OD at part throttle, etc. I have been driving with it on position 1 for more than two years with no problems. I would highly recommend a GM pan gasket if you're going to drop yours. I find the aftermarket ones don't seal even with some Right Stuff. The leaking pan doesn't have anything to do with the shift plus. The increased pressure is in the internals. The trans pan is open to the atmosphere through the vent in the top under the brake master cylinder and if the trans fluid is at the correct level, the gasket is completely submerged in fluid. It's bound to seep a little due to heat cycling and age.
Sounds like your low on fluid. I would change the filter, get a new gasket, and change the trans fluid.
My 4T40E has had the shiftplus for YEARS, and my trans pan has never leaked.
