2200 clutch disc

Ok guys, i'm in need of a clutch and on a limited budget right now. I've done some research and can't find my answer. I did find out that if i use a flywheel from a 95-99 2.2, i can run the clutch from one on my 2001 2200, which is about 200 dollars cheaper. But what i'm wanting to know is if the clutch disc themselves are the same? I know the flywheel on mine(01 2200) is stepped where as the 95-99 is flat. If anyone knows if the clutch disc from a 95-99 would work on mine let me know, thanks.

What is the diff? The measurements of the clutch disc are the same, just wondering what the difference is in them. I'll probally just use the 95-99 clutch and flywheel all together but just wondering what the difference is in the disc. Thanks

Well, after being told this by many people my clutch finally went completely out. Sunday we dropped the tranny in hopes that if i ordered a clutch monday it would be in within a couple days. We took it out and headed to the parts store to do some comparing. End result, my 2001 F23 getrag with a 2200, is now rocking a clutch disc from a 95-99 2.2 izuzu. Aparently it does work, or i just got some odd @!#$t going on. Haven't had any problems and it grabs good, doesn't miss a beat.
