Hey all, i am hoping you can help me with a problem with my 96 sunfire. Whenever i am driving and i engage the clutch(to shift or whatnot), a loud noise comes from the area of the cluth/trans....It sounds like a loud rotating noise, that slows down when the car slows down.(that is the only way i can explain it...haha) it only happens when i am driving/in motion. I don't know that much about manual trannys, but my father thinks it is the throw out bearing. Does anyone know for sure? If it is the bearing, how much does it cost to fix it/ can i fix it myself?

Anyone know if this is my problem? i really dont want to have to take it to a shop and have them charge me a whole bunch of money just to look.
