I haven't heard anything about them but no one make converters for our cars anymore so i would probably be willing the try it. It is a shame Yank stopped making them for our trannys.

There are still plenty of stock replacement TCs being made for these transmissions (GM 4T40E,4T45E, 4T60E, 4T65E, 440T4, TH125C/3T40). This would include higher stall speeds upto 2795 rpm (most I've seen in the J-Bodies so far has been 2375 rpm stall).

You can get a custom TC made for about $400-$600 or more, depending on the options you choose. There are a few Yank TCs floating around, such as Joey's. They are good TCs.

More info on TCs can be found in this thread: Stock Torque Converters, 3 Speed Gears and more.
