Monday, April 06, 2009 5:05 PM
I have a 2001 cavalier with a 2.2 L in it with the stock trans. My top cooling line is leaking from rubbing on the lower cooling line. My ? is how do I get the lines free from the trans it looks like a plate holds them on if I remove that plate will they come out. Thanks for the help.

there will be a decent amount of fluid loss but nothing outrageous. Best thing to do is buy a couple of quarts from the parts store just in case and if you dont use them, then return them.
