So i was driving to school one day and came to a stop light and when i went to shift from 1st to 2nd it wouldnt come out of 1st .. i got it to come out of first but now it doesnt move at all.. you can shift through the gears and the speedo goes up but doesnt move

Sounds like your main gear shattered... Is there any noise from the tranny when you put it in gear and rev? If so drain your tranny fluid and see if there are any metal shavings...If so its toast.
