I bought a short throw shifter and installed it. Well my car wasn't running at the time and it took about 6 months to get it running. Well today was the first i had it running and went to put the car in reverse and it goes in like it should but there is no reverse when I leave the clutch out the car wants to go forward like its one of my normal gears. I have all my gears 1st-5th. Does anyone have an idea why??? We checked all my linkage and it is in the right spots and everything is where its suppose to be.

on the one cable that runs out to the linkage, the one clip popped off all it need was snapped back down on. Very simple problem.
