ok i dont know if anyone here has had this issue or not. While driving my cavalier and coasting about 30-40mph (also occurs at higher or lower speeds but mainly around those speeds)with my foot off the accel pedal. When i go to accel from a coast there is a thunking sound from under the front of the vehicle. it will occur every time i start coasting again then apply the gas pedal. it is not happening between gears i know that. It will also make that same noise from a stop when i accel and then let off the gas. The sound is definatly coming from under the front of the veh in the engine compartment.
Im not sure if it is a mount or something in the trans. Just wondering if anyone else has had this occur on there vehicle.
BTW i own a 99 cavalier 2.2l with a 3 speed tranny.
any info will be greatly appreciated thank you
