was wondering if i could use any of the trannys that the ecotec has? like off a Saturn ,i know sunfires are the same , how about a cobalt or a Saab six speed one?
do i really need to weld a mount for the manual one and do i need new axles with new tranny bolts?can i use older cavy clutch pedals master and ect? i know older trans dont fit

im just trying to go from auto to a stick. i know its alot of work but its ok im trying to reeeedo my car. just a learning project. i got an 03 cavy off my buddy for $500 wit only 60000 on it. so im trying to do it up i got new bumpers for it lights and a hood. oh ya he hit a dear. but i still drove it home from his house.
